What happens if there is bad weather on the day of our charter?

Weather must be safe for all cruises, and we also want you to have the most enjoyable experience.  If your cruise is canceled, you may reschedule (subject to availability), receive credit for a future trip, or request a refund. It is the captain's call on the day of the charter.

What should I wear?

Weather on the water can be unpredictable.  We suggest that you bring a sweatshirt or wind breaker.  We recommend you bring a hat and sunscreen as the sun can be strong during the summer months.  Also, sneakers or boat shoes are highly recommended.

What happens if it starts raining when we’re out on our cruise?

Our guests have created a truly unforgettable experience when there’s a touch of rain or fog.  If we encounter a rain shower, you can stay dry in the fly-bridge, the cockpit, or the salon inside the boat. Additionally, we offer ponchos to ensure all guests remain as comfortable as possible.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Our cruises typically run in mild weather conditions, including light showers and moderate elements. We only cancel in cases of severe or unsafe conditions. The captain actively monitors radar for approaching weather and makes cancellation decisions as early as possible, often up to an hour before departure. Safety is always the captain’s top priority, guided by trusted forecasts and updates. In uncertain or risky conditions, ensuring safety remains paramount.

You may cancel for a full refund or full charter credit within 30 days before departure.  Up to 48 hours before departure, you may reschedule or cancel for a full charter credit.  Within 48 hours, the decision to cruise rests with SeaEscape Charters.  If your cruise is canceled, you may reschedule (subject to availability), receive credit for a future trip, or request a refund.
